Bhatkal: Bhatkal Town Police have registered cases against three persons for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol during a vehicle inspection conducted at Shamsuddin Circle in the town.

The checking drive was carried out under the supervision of Sub-Inspector Naveen. During the inspection, police found that three motorists had consumed alcohol before driving.

Police said cases have been registered against the accused and reports will be submitted to the court. Further action, including the imposition of fines, will be taken in accordance with the court's directions.
