Bhatkal: In a key administrative move, the Karnataka government has officially carved out Murdeshwar from the Bhatkal rural police circle, creating a new Murdeshwar police circle to strengthen law enforcement and streamline operations in the region.

As per the government order, the new circle will include the Murdeshwar police station and Manki police station (located in neighbouring Honnavar taluk).

Going forward, residents of Murdeshwar and Manki can directly contact the Murdeshwar circle police office for assistance, using the official landline number 08385-226813.
