Bhatkal: After rendering his services for 24 years, Assistant Sub-inspector Gajanan Bhat Handegon was felicitated in the farewell programme held at rural police station under the leadership of CPI Prashanth Nayak.

Prashant Naik spoke about the soon-to-be-retired ASI, "Mr. Bhat's career started at Coorg and he has rendered his services for a long time in various places at Uttara Kannada district."He also wished good luck for his retired life.

Speaking about the retirement, Gajanan Bhat said, "Every employee has to go through this phase. You have to maintain healthy relationship with the higher authorities and the public and I've had everyone's support."

PSI Manjayya, ASI Naveen Borkar, Gond Dodamani and other officers were present.
