Karwar: Postal operations across several areas in the Karwar region will remain suspended on June 20 and 21 due to a scheduled software upgrade by the Department of Posts.

According to a notification from the Superintendent of Posts, the transition to a new software system will be implemented across all sub-post offices and branch offices under the jurisdiction of the Karwar Head Post Office.

Services will be suspended in the following locations: Kaiga, Kadra, Asoti, Angadi, Halaga, Majali, Sadashivgadh, Kadwad, Habbuwada, Nandanagadda, Kodibagh, Baithkol, Karwar Head Post Office, Chendia, Naval Base, Karwar Market, and in Ankola taluk at Ankola, Shetgeri, Vandige, Belekeri, and Aversa post offices, along with their respective branch offices.

Customers are requested to cooperate during this brief disruption, the notification added.
