Riyadh – The Bhatkal Muslim Association (BMA) Riyadh hosted its annual event, Milan 2025, at the Crown Plaza Hotel, bringing together community members, families, and well-wishers for an evening of unity, recognition, and celebration.
The event was honored by the presence of two distinguished personalities. Dr. Anwar Khursheed, a renowned figure from Gulbarga and a long-standing resident of Saudi Arabia, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Earlier this year, Dr. Anwar Khursheed received the Bhartiya Pravasi Samman Award from the Honorable President of India in Bhubaneshwar, Orissa, for his exemplary contributions in healthcare, education, and community welfare.
Moulana Niamathullah Askeri attended as the Guest of Honor, delivering an inspiring address that emphasized the importance of unity, faith, and service for the betterment of society.
In his keynote remarks, Mr. Mohamed Ammar Kazia, President of BMA Riyadh, lauded Dr. Anwar Khursheed’s achievements, describing him as “a true inspiration and role model for all those committed to the noble cause of community development and welfare.” He also expressed appreciation for Moulana Niamathullah Askeri’s continuous encouragement and guidance to the community.
On this occasion, BMA Riyadh honored Janab Abdus Sami Kola, a veteran social worker and former three-term President of BMA Riyadh, in recognition of his decades of dedicated service to the community both in Riyadh and in Bhatkal.
The program was convened by Mr. Suhaib Musba, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution of the event. Mr. Irshad Ahmed, General Secretary of BMA Riyadh, skillfully anchored the evening as the Master of Ceremony.
The Milan 2025 lineup featured Educational Awards, Fancy Dress Competitions, Skits, Nath Recitations, Quizzes, and engaging Games, before concluding with a lively Raffle Draw offering numerous bumper prizes.
The successful gathering reaffirmed BMA Riyadh’s mission to foster togetherness, cultural pride, and social responsibility, while honoring individuals who embody the spirit of selfless community service.
