Bhatkal: Due to the implementation of the election code of conduct across India, the Bhatkal Tahsildar has not permitted the Tanzeem to organize a voter ID camp that was scheduled to be held on March 30 and 31.

Abdul Raqeeb MJ Nadvi, the General Secretary of the local social organization Majlise Ijlas wa Tanzeem, stated that due to the lack of permission, the two-day voter ID camp has been cancelled.

Nadvi further explained that despite the cancellation of the camp by the Tanzeem, Block Level Officers (BLOs) appointed by the government will be available at all polling booths. They can assist in adding new names to the voter list and applying for Voter ID cards.

Additionally, individuals can also add their names to the voter list using the mobile app Voter Helpline or through the Election Commission website at https://voters.eci.gov.in.

Nadvi advised that if anyone finds no officer present at a polling booth, they can approach the Bhatkal Tahsildar or seek guidance from the Tanzeem office.
