Bhatkal: A heartening incident was reported from the popular tourist destination of Murdeshwar, where a differently-abled minor girl was safely reunited with her parents following the timely intervention of the police.
According to sources, Sanjana, a 15-year-old girl from Chennai, had visited Murdeshwar for sightseeing along with her father, Swaminath. During the visit, she got separated from her guardians near the temple premises. It is reported that the girl is unable to speak, has impaired vision, and also suffers from hearing difficulties. She had been missing for nearly three hours, causing serious concern and distress to her parents.
Upon receiving information, ASI Ramachandra Hegde of the Murdeshwar Police Station took special initiative and immediately launched a search operation. Due to his persistent and effective efforts, the differently-abled girl was traced safely.
After completing all necessary verification formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents. The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Murdeshwar police, especially ASI Ramachandra Hegde, for their prompt action and humane approach.
