Anjuman focuses on academic excellence with four-day teachers’ workshop in Bhatkal

Bhatkal: A four-day training workshop for teachers and lecturers of institutions run under Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen was inaugurated on Saturday at the seminar hall of the Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM).

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Zubair Kola, vice president of Anjuman, who highlighted the benefits of such capacity-building initiatives. He said that the Anjuman Centre for Excellence, which has been active for several years, is primarily aimed at preparing students for CET, NEET, CA, UPSC, and other competitive examinations, as well as for government employment.
“Although the Centre’s activities were disrupted by COVID, it is now fully operational,” Dr. Kola said, urging students to take full advantage of the opportunities available. He emphasized the importance of participant feedback in measuring success and improving future programmes, and welcomed all suggestions for further enhancement.

Muhammad Sadiq Pilloor, first vice president of Anjuman, described the Centre for Excellence as the realization of the long-held vision of former president Advocate Muzammil Kazia, noting that the project could not be implemented fully during the pandemic. “Today, the Centre is functioning well, and the team behind it is doing excellent work. Our aim is to provide better opportunities for students and to promote all forms of skill development,” he said.

Former president Advocate Muzammil Kazia reiterated that Anjuman’s core objective is to equip students for CET, NEET, CA, UPSC, government services, and other competitive examinations. He added that the four-day workshop for teachers would prove highly effective and would further strengthen the teaching faculty working for the benefit of students.

Trainer Mohammad Anas, Anjuman additional secretary Mohammad Ismail Jukaku, and others also shared their views. The convener of the training committee, Yaseen Askiri, delivered the welcome address, while Mohammad Mohsin, principal of the BBA College, compered the programme.

The four-day workshop will conclude on October 21 with a valedictory session.
