Delegation of Yedurappa's new party visits Bhatkal, 30 seats announced for Muslim Candidates

Bhatkal: “Our party will give 30 seats to the Muslim Candidates out of 224 assembly seats in Karnataka”, announced the secretary of Karnataka Janta Party (KJP) Muhammed Nazeer Ahmed. He was here in Bhatkal as the part of delegation which was here in town for their state-wide support seeking campign for their newly formed party.

Talking to press reporters here in SahilOnline office he said that the former CM, Mr Yedurappa has formed a new party with the intention to give their rights to the Muslims as well as all the down-trodden communities. He informed that they were carrying out the statewide visit to strengthen their party and were successful in receiving the public support to high extent.

When questioned about the issue of recent arrests of the innocent Muslim youth in the state, he said that the KJP would surely work towards it. He blamed the Congress of all these arrests and said that the TADA and POTA acts were assigned by the Congress government which is destroying the lives of innocent youth.

He further said that the country will walk on the path of progress only when the state and nation will have peace and harmony. And the KJP will work towards maintaining peace and harmony in the state at every step which will take the state on paths of success.

Earlier the KJP delegation had a meeting with the Muslim leaders at the Bhatkal Tanzeem where they asked the Muslim leaders for their support. The Tanzeem responded that all the decisions were taken by them after taking into account all the situations, and the decision would be taken only after the matter is discussed with the local leaders.
