Dubai : Addressing a public meeting organized by the Bhatkal Muslim Jamat Dubai, Majlis Islah-o-Tanzeem President Mr. Muzammil Kazia announced that Majlis Islah-o-Tanzeem Bhatkal will field Muslim candidates in the upcoming Bhatkal assembly elections as per decided in the Bainul Jamati Conference held in Calicut

Speaking on the occasion he said, necessary measures have been taken for Muslim candidates to contest in the elections, sittings with the various organizations of the community will be held to decide that which Muslim candidate will represent Tanzeem in the upcoming elections, and the candidate will be chosen by the mutual consent, inclusive of all Organizations and Jamats of Bhatkal community.

Mr. Muzammil kazia further stated that, "This will be an attempt to fill the hollowness of the political leadership among the community after the demise of late IM Siddique, late Abdul Qadir Basha Hafizka, Former Minister late Mr. Shamshuddin Jukaku and late Mr. SM Yahya".

With the elections approaching nearer, political panel of Majlis-e-Islah -o-Tanzeem Bhatkal will select the Muslim Candidate within one month and a half month as there are only six months left until the elections, he said

According to him, the number of voters in Bhatkal Assembly Constituency is more than two lakhs. Muslims more than (45 thousand), Namdhari (52 thousand), Moger (18 thousand), Christians (10 thousand), Devadiga Community (10 thousand).

Namdhari community wants their candidates to get the party tickets in the coming Assembly elections like previous years. Based on this voters from other communities are likely to support Muslim candidate, he added

While appreciating the new office bearers of Tanzeem he said, all the officials have been actively working in the area, which resulted in successful Bhatkal bandh recently and all the other communities provided their total support to Tanzeem for making the bandh successful. He also declared that the media-watch committee, legal-action committee, Political-panel committee of Majlis-e-Ishal-o-Tanzeem are very active, also said that entire body of Tanzeem is active.





Mr. Muzammil Kazia attended Dubai Eid Milan as a guest of honour and was also invited by Manki and Murdeshwar Jamat during their administrative meetings, in which Mr. Muzammil Kazia repeated the issues mentioned above and he also tried to draw the member’s attention to provide one platform to work towards the betterment of Muslim community within the coastal belt, he further emphasized that we all must unite and work together to solve our problems, and also said that if our candidate represents in the assembly, it will be easier for us to solve the problems faced by our community.

The Government of India has provided the absentee Voting Facility for Indians living abroad through internet, NRI voters can register by applying their names online, once they register their names under NRI category, their names will not be deleted from the electoral register, he said while speaking with the community people residing in the gulf.
