India's first glass mosque open to public

Shillong: India's first glass mosque and the biggest in the northeast region that can accommodate 2,000 devotees at a time today opened its doors to the public.
Inaugurating the Rs 2 crore Madina mosque in Meghalaya's capital, Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs Vincent H Pala regretted the tendency by police in some instances where Muslims are targeted during investigation of crimes.
