Panaji:Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar informed the the state assembly that government was contemplating ban on sale of liquor, packed in sachets, in Goa.

Mr Parrikar was replying to the zero hour mention by Ganesh Gaokar that youths were seen drinking liquor, packet in sachets, while walking on roads.

He said he will direct the manufacturers of sachets to stop its sale in Goa. "It is also an environmental danger", the Chief Minister added.
