Bijnor (UP): Six students were killed and seven others critically injured when a roof of a junior high school collapsed in a village in Chandpur area on Friday.

Thirteen students of Mansha Devi Junior High School at Jalilpur village got trapped inside a classroom as its roof collapsed on them this afternoon just before the school was about to close for the day, police said.

The students were rushed to a hospital, where six of them died, SHO, Chandpur SP Rai said, adding the seven injured were critical .
