Batala: In a broad daylight robbery, two unidentified persons today robbed Rs 1.53 lakh cash and gold ornaments from a woman at village Wada Nangal under Qadian police station here.

Police said the robbers barged into her house and tied her with cloth after which she become unconscious and fell on the floor. They later locked her in the kitchen and fled with the cash and gold ornaments kept in the almirah.
