Bangalore: Police have arrested nine youths in the age group of 19 to 30, including a woman, on charges of murdering a driver on October 13 last in the city.

Police said the arrested were identified as Shivananda (25), Raghuvir (20), Santosh (19), Suresh 22, Kumar (30), Nataraj (24), Fayaz (20), Karunakar (27), Varalakshmi (25).

The preliminary investigation revealed that Varalakshmi and the deceased Navin Kumar Netra were into a live in relationship. However, difference of opinion cropped up between them.

Then Varalakshmi provoked Shivanand to murder Netra.

Shivananda approached Raghuvir who had received life threat from Netra while in jail and was waiting for taking revenge.

Raghuvir hatched a plan and murdered Netra with lethal weapon.
