Bangalore (UNI) : Ministerial aspirants today made a beeline to the residence of former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, who played a pivotal role in unseating D V Sadananda Gowda, in an attempt to seek his 'blessings' in the new government headed by Jagadish Shettar to be sworn in tomorrow.
Some of the current ministers also joined the aspirants in calling upon Mr Yeddyurappa who held discussions with veteran leader and trouble shooter Rajnath Singh on the developments in the party.
Chief Minister Designate Shettar, meanwhile, held discussion with party State President K S Eshwarappa on formation of the Cabinet. However, the list will be released only after getting clearance from the High Command.
The list is expected to be ready for dispatch by evening, according to party sources.
Mr Shettar was keen that cabinet members take oath along with him at Raj Bhavan tomorrow.
There were Ministers and about 50 legislators who had identified with Mr Gowda in yesterday's high drama which delayed the selection of Mr Shettar. Main among them were Minister for Primary and Higher Education Vishveshwara Hegde Kageri, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Suresh Kumar, Minister for Industries Mrugesh Nirani.
