Hubli : Former Chief Minister and Janata Dal(S) Karnataka Chief H D Kumaraswamy today demanded the resignation of Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda and asked the BJP to seek a fresh mandate.
Speaking to reporters here, he urged Mr Gowda to take immediate steps to end this political drama to save the state from getting ruin and pave way for the smooth running of the state.
He said the BJP should lead the State without any hitch till the tenure is over or quit immediately.
He said the present political scenario has been degrading the prestige of the State and done with personal motive instead of protecting the interest of the people.
'The ugly scenes in BJP politics have been shameful on the part of leaders of the party.
'It has also lowered the dignity of the state,' he charged.
