Bhatkal: Muslim scholars of Bhatkal will soon launch a new Online News Portal Fikrokhabar.com under the supervision of Maulana S M Hashim Nadwi.

In this regard, the head office of the portal was inaugurated recently near Shifa Cross Bhatkal by the Principal of Jamia Islamia Bhatkal, Maulana Abdul Bari Nadwi.

Speaking On the occasion, Maulana suggested that Religious Scholars should take initiatives to support Muslim media by taking up career in the field of journalism. He said that Muslim media should work towards achieving harmony and peace, demonstrating the correct interpretation of Islamic values and ethical principles should be the main obligation of Muslim media. He congratulated Maulana SM Hashim Nadwi and Editor Maulana Ansar Aziz Nadwi and their friends for launching the website.

Addressing the ceremony, Editor Maulana Ansar Aziz Nadwi said that the news portal will include several useful items for Muslims. The portal will consist of sections for children and women, addressing Islamic information needs. Through Jurisprudential problem column, they will try to solve Muslim related issues. There will be a column which provide a range of new opportunities for upcoming writers and will encourage them in this context.





Urdu writer Maulana Abdul Mateen Muneeri, in his presidential speech gave brief introduction of the website.

General Secretary of Majlise Islah o Tanzeem, Bhatkal, Mr. Muhiddin Altaf Kharuri, Vice-president of Anjuman Mr. Kashimji Mohammed Ansar, and General Secretary Alimiyan Islamic Academy, Maulana Ilyas Jakti Nadwi also expressed their thoughts, and congratulated the team. Many others were also present on the occasion.

Earlier the program began with the recitation of quran by Mohammed Iyad and program concluded with Dua by Maulana Abdul Bari Nadwi.
