Bhatkal: Two biker riders were seriously injured when their motorbikes collided with each other here at Jamia Abad road on Monday late night.

The injured persons have been identified as Maaz Kapti (18) of Rahmath Abad and Venkatesh Moger (26) of Tengingundi.

Both were rushed to Bhatkal Government Hospital, where they were provided with the initial treatment. Later, Maaz was taken to Kundapur and Venkatesh to Manipal for further treatment.

A case has been registered at Bhatkal Rural Police Station.
