Honnavar: A bus got overturned near Honnavar, NH 206, injuring at least 8 passengers here on Monday night around 10pm.

According to the received information, the driver lost control while negotiating a sharp turn. The bus got overturned and later came to halt after hitting a road-side rock. Luckily the passengers received minor injuries. The sea bird team immediately reached the accident spot and the injured were rushed to the Hospital.

The Sea Bird bus bearing the number KA-01/D-171 was on route towards Bangalore from Karwar-Kumta.

A case has been registered at Honnavar Police Station.
