Sirsi: In a Shocking incident which took place here in Sirsi on Saturday, a man named Vishwanath Bhat from Handimane near Jaddigadde in Sirsi Taluk caned his mother Savitri Venkataramana Bhat to death. Bhat has been suffering from depression, according to the police.

A case has been registered at Sirsi police station.
