Bhatkal: Two persons were reportedly injured when a private bus knocked down a bike from its rear side here in Shirali, which comes under Bhatkal Taluk, on Saturday evening.

The injured were identified as Anitha Naik (40) and Vinayak Naik (21).

Both the persons were on their way to Murdeshwar when Mumbai bound private bus hit them from back side.

The injured were immediately rushed to the Bhatkal Govt. Hospital, and were later shifted to Kundapur.

A case has been registered in Bhatkal Rural police station.
