Bhatkal: Two people were reportedly injured when a lorry crushed into a bike at the entrance gate of AC office here at Bhatkal on Thursday. Both the injured have been taken to Kundapur after giving the initial treatment at Govt. Hospital Bhatkal.

It was said that the lorry was entering the compound of AC office from the National Highway, where as the bike was on its way out, when the accident occurred. The collision was so severe that the bike entirely got under the lorry and it took lot of efforts to bring it out. But both the people survived miraculously. The injured have been identified as Mahadavanappa Naik (40) and Pandu Shanya Naik (24). Both have received injuries on their legs.
