Bhatkal: Bhatkal: "Iqra" READ! Seek knowledge! Educate yourselves! This was the very first word which was revealed in Quran. To seek knowledge is a sacred duty; it is obligatory upon every Muslim, male and female, said Mr. Ansar Kashimji, Vice President of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal, while addressing the gathering on the occasion on Eid Milan function on Thursday, which was hosted by the Best Academy, popularly known as Bhatkal Academy, a well-known coaching centre in the town. The program was organized at their new premises in Nawayth Colony. he was present as the Chief Guest of the function.

Guest of Honour, General Secretary of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Mr. Jukaku Abdur Raheem, addressed the students and congratulated Javeed Hussain Armar for his achievements. ‘In order to be good and successful, one has to build strong character, maintain discipline, work hard, concentrate on studies to get good results’, he advised the students. He also advised the students of Best Academy to take part in the co-curricular activities held at the college, to build their carrier in a better way.

Khateeb of Masjid-e-Ahmed sayeed, Moulana Jafar Faqui Bhaw, spoke about the Islamic concept of education and its implications in this life and the hereafter. ‘Islam should be considered as a system of life by our new generation. Youth should be take part in building the society and nation’, he said.

Chairman of Best Academy, Mr. Javeed Hussain Armar, HOD of English Department in Anjuman College, Prof M M Jamadar, Prof Yaseen Mohtisham, along with others were present on the occasion.

Prof Yaseen Mohtisham, with the support of staff & students made the event a grand success. The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Musab Ahmed Abida. Ahmed Musba welcomed the gathering, while Yahya Hallare delevired vote of thanks. Nadeem Qausain Naite recited Naat-e-Paak. The program was ably compeered by Asjad.

Bumper Prize of Eid Milan 2012 of Best Academy was a Gold Chain and a Washing Machine. Electric Fans, Chairs, and many more gifts were given away. Miss Suhaiba of 2nd year PUC and Ameer Basha from SSLC won the Gold Chain & Washing Machine respectively. As many as 300 students took part in the program.
