Bhatkal: A Tamil Nadu bound truck which was on its way to Kerala, rammed a cycle in Venktapur, near Bhatkal, injuring the cycle rider Hassan S/o Allah Bakhsh (30).

Hassan, a laborer was on his way from Shirali to Bhatkal on his bicycle, when a lorry hit him from the rear side.










It is told that the back tyres of lorry ran along his leg, which resulted in fracture of his leg. One leg is said to be totally crumbled while the other one has also got some fractures.

Hasan was initially taken to the Bhatkal Govt. Hospital, and was later shifted to the Kundapur Hospital.

It is said that Hasan is a resident of Gulmi and he is a very poor person.

A case has been registered in Bhatkal rural police station.
