Bhatkal: The State-level executive committee meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) women’s wing will be held on August 24 and 25 at Murdeshwar in Bhatkal taluk, informed women’s wing district unit President Sumana Kulkarni.

Addressing press persons in Sirsi, Sumana Kulkarni said that the meeting would focus on organizing the party, -Various sessions that will help in strengthening the party would be held on the occasion-, she said and added that all preparations for holding the meeting have been done.

She added that Minister Shobha Karandlaje, Legislative Council members Vimala Gouda, Bharati Shetty, S R Leela, District In-charge Minister Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, Science & Technology Minister Anand Asnotikar, MP Ananthkumar Hegde and heads of various Boards and Corporations and other people’s representatives of the district will participate.

She said, on August 25 at 11:00 am, women’s wing national unit President Smruti Erani will inaugurate the function while State unit President Reena Prakash would preside over the function. Apart from politics, discussion on conservation of Indian culture, recent developments in the society and other relevant issues, will be held.
