Bhatkal: The ad-hoc committee for the formation of the central body of Anjuman Alumni was formed here in Bhatkal at the Itfar party held in Rabita Hall on Tuesday 7th August, which will announce the formation of the body of the organization next year.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief guest of the function, Mr. Ashfaque Shabandari, senior member of Dubai chapter of Anjuman Alumni presents a brief account of the Alumni’s Dubai chapter. He said two years ago under the guidance of Mr. SM Syed Khalil, an ad-hoc committee was formed in Dubai, with the aim of creating awareness among the graduates of the Anjuman Hami-e-Muslim (AHM) Bhatkal, and in May 2012, the alumni was formed, with the election of executive committee and the office bearers. He further said that after its formation the alumni decided to form the central committee of the Anjuman Alumni at Bhatkal. He assured the graduates of the Anjuman that the Dubai’s chapter of Anjuman Alumni would provide all its support to Bhatkal central committee of the alumni in all the possible ways.

Speaking on the occasion guest of honour, Mr. Abdur Rahman Siddiqui presented several suggestions and guidelines to the members of the ad-hoc committee about formation of the Alumni.

Mr. Abdur Rahim Jukaku, the General Secretary of the AHM call upon the graduates of Anjuman to come forward to support their Alma meter.

He congratulate the students who came forward with their interest to adopt a Alumni Association in Bhatkal. He also higlighted the present situation, what Anjuman are giving the facilities to the students.

While delivering his presidential address Mr. Kashimji Mohammed Ansar, the vice president of AHM call upon the graduates that Anjuman had brought them to their current status and position and said it’s time for the graduates of Anjuman to return the Anjuman what they have achieved from the organization through its education.

The program started with the recitation of Quran by Mr. Ishtiyaque at around 5 pm Mr. Aftab Qamri delivered the welcome speech, Dr. Afaque Lanka thanked.

The program was jointly compered by Mr. Zahran Jushiddi, Mr. Zahid Kharuri and Mr. Mubasshir Hallare. The ad-hoc committee was formed during the program who will form the alumni body after six month long membership drive. At the end of the program Itfar party was served for the audience. About 100 graduates of Anjuman attended the function.
