Bhatkal: The ground floor of the new building of the Nawayath Colony Tanzeem Jamia Millia Masjid was inaugurated today with Asar prayers. The congregation was lead by the well known scholar Moulana Muhammed Sadique Akrami Nadwi. Moulana Muhammed Qaseem Ansari was present as the chief guest, whereas Mr. Jaan Abdurrahman Mohtisham, the president of Jamatul Muslimeen Bhatkal; Moulana Khawaja Mohiddin, the Kazi of Kaleefa Jamath; Moulana Abdul Bari Nadwi, the Khateeb of Jamia Masjid and Principal of Jamia Islamia and others were present as honorary guests.



Moulana Qari Muhammed Qaseem spoke about the importance of Masjid and regarding Ramadhan.

The program began with the recitation of the verses from Holy Quran by Hafiz Imran Akrami Nadwi. The general secretary of Tanzeem Masjid Majils-e-Millia, Mr. Abdur Raqeeb MJ Nadwi presented the welcome speech and put light on the significance of Masjids.

Speaking about the importance of Masjids, Moulana Khaja Madani said that the people who built the Masjids and inhibit them are the ones who are blessed by the Allah Almighty. Prophet Muhammed (PBUH), when he enterned Madina, the very first plan which came to his mind was about building a Masjid there, he informed.

Moulana Abdul Bari Nadwi congratulated the folks for constructing Masjid and prayed in the favor of those who had taken part in the construction.

Moulana Qari Muhammed Qaseem, in his address, said that the Masjid is the most beloved place of Almighty Allah. She said that the Masjids should be used for all purpose. He said that it should be the center for preaching, should be a teaching place, a court and also a parliament. He further said that during the era of our Prophet(PBUH) the prisoners and complainants were both brought to the Masjid-e-Nabawi. He spoke in detail about the subject and later spoke about the importance of Ramadhan.

The program was convened by Moulana Irfan SM, the Imam of Millia Masjid, and Usama Nadwi thanked the guests and audience.

The convener of construction committee of Masjid, Fawwaz Sukri, Arfat Askeri, Abdul Mujeeb Ruknuddin and others were present. The president of Millia, Mr. Sada Hasan Bapa presided over the function.
