Bhatkal: Members of the district bar association of Bhatkal on Wednesday submitted a memorandum addressed to the President to the deputy commissioner here against the proposed Higher Education and Research Bill and five other Bills. They took out a procession to the deputy commissioner’s office. Advocates staged protests in other taluks of Uttara Kannada also in response to the call given by the Bar Council of India.
