Mangalore: Mangalore: A severe accident took place near Kankannady in Mangalore between a car and a bus, where two people travelling on car died on the spot whereas the other two were severely injured. A boy who was travelling on the bus is also said to be injured in the accident.



The car, after overtaking a tanker was on full speed forward, when it was harshly hit by a bus which was overtaking another vehicle. The accident was so severe that the front portion of the car was completely damaged and the car driver Ashwith Alwa(20) along with the front seater Sogoma(70) died on the spot. Other passengers on car Geethe Alwa and Sharon Alwa were said to be severely injured. The condition of Geetha is said to be crucial. Another boy travelling on the bus was also injured whose name is not known.

Case has been registered in Kankannady Police station and police is investigating further.
