Gokrana:Within a few hours of the incident where two youths were drowned in Kumta, another incident of similar kind took place in Gokrana where a nineteen year old youth was drowned into the sea. He was identified as Yogesh Malwad of Hubli.

According to sources, a team of eight tourists from Hubli had been to Gokrana on Friday. After sightseeing at Om Beach, they had been to Kodle Beach, where they were playing on the beach with plastic bags. Eventually the plastic bag of Yogesh fell into the sea, and when he went to fetch it, all of a sudden a huge wave hit him and washed him away. The search was on till late evening but to no avail.

A case had been registerd in Gokrana police station.
