Bhatkal: Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management, Bhatkal (formerly known as Anjuman Engineering College) has secured 93% results in BE final semester examination conducted by Visvesharaya Technological University during May 2012.
Out of 251 students, 189 students passed with distinction and 61 passed out with first class. The overall passing percentage is recorded as 93%.
According to the press release given out by the AITM, Nishath-ul-Haq of Civil department has topped all the departments of the college with 92% marks. He has scored 688 marks out of total 750.
The recorded pass percentage of BE final year Civil department is 80%, Mechanical department is 97%, Electrical and Electronics department is 97%, Electronics and Communication department is 93%, Computer Science department is 95% and Information Science department is 86%.
Nishath-ul-Haq has topped the Civil department along with all others, whereas G Ashwin has topped the Mechanical engineering with 655 marks. Muhammed Shameer has topped the Electrical and Electronics department with 638 marks, Sharath Kumar Shetty topped the Electronics and Communication department
with 626 marks, Pai Jay Ram Rohidas topped the Computer Science department with 671 marks and Daniyal Khan has topped the Information Science department with 587 marks.
The president of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Mr. SM Khaleelurrahman and General Secretary Mr. Abdurrahim Jukaku have expressed their happiness over the wonderful BE results and has congratulated the principal, professors, staff and all the students of AITM for their achievement.
