Bhatkal: The incident of snatching the money loaded bag of a pygmy collector of Bhatkal Urban Bank took place on Tuesday night here in Bhatkal.

The pygmy collector Mr. Govardhan Narsimha Kamat has lodged a police complaint against an unknown bike rider who had snatched the money loaded bag from him and fled the scene. He was walking towards Viru Vithal road from Raghunath road when the incident took place. The bag contained Rs. 12240 from the pygmy collection.

PSI Prakash Bunt is investigating the case.

Talking to the media, police said that they got some clue of the snatchers after inquiring few eye witnesses. Police have confident that the accused will be arrested soon.
