Karwar: The government has issued orders transferring the deputy director of public instruction (DDPI) of Karwar and Sirsi educational districts.

According to the sources, Karwar DDPI N S Kumar has been transferred to Shimoga. Mr Revanasiddappa, who was Hiriyur Block Education Officer, would be the new DDPI for Karwar following his promotion.

Sirsi educational district DDPI D K Shivakumar has been transferred to District Institute of Educational Training at Davangere, while Davangere Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Deputy Planning Co-ordinator M S Prasannakumar would take charge as DDPI of Sirsi educational district.

The government also issued orders to effect the transfer of Ramkrishna Nayak, who was Karwar Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Deputy Planning Co-ordinator, as Education Officer in Karwar DDPI’s office. Now, Kumta DIET senior lecturer Basavarajappa would take charge as Karwar Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Deputy Planning Co-ordinator. Another senior lecturer of Kumta DIET Mr Narayan Nayak has been transferred to the post of BEO in Yellapur, sources added.
