Mangalore: The election of A Sadananda Shetty, proprietor of Quality Bar and Restaurant, as the President of Mahatma Gandhi Peace Foundation at Tagore Park in Bavutagudda has initiated an argument. The All India Freedom Fighters Committee (AIFFC) have decided to protest against his election on 12th of march.

In a press communiqué, the AIFFC has said that Sadananda Shetty is not eligible to be the chairman of the Foundation as he runs bars. The committee stated that he has bid adieu to the Gandhian ideologies and has demanded him to quit the Foundation, failing which they will stage a satyagraha before the DC office in Mangalore on 12th of March.
