All electronic voting machines used in the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency polling have been securely transferred to Saint Cecilia's Pre-Graduate College, Brahmagiri, for counting, accompanied by Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) machines.
The polling for the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha seat, a record-breaking 77.15 percent voter turnout was reported, marking a significant increase from the previous elections. District-wise, Udupi saw 78.94 percent turnout across its four assembly constituencies, while Chikkamagaluru recorded 75.7 percent.
The recent polling in Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency witnessed a commendable 77.44 percent voter turnout, reflecting a strong commitment to the electoral process.
