Three from Bangalore 'roughed up' by Gangolli police

Udupi: Zameer Ahmed, who runs a tailoring shop, Safa Tailors, on Commercial Street in Bangalore, on Thursday said he, his father-in-law, Basheer Ahmed, and his employee T.S. Nagesh Kumar were detained and beaten up by police personnel from the Gangolli police station when they visited Toplu village in Udupi district on October 4.

According to the The Hindu Newspaper the three of them left Bangalore on October 3 for a holiday and reached Toplu village near Hemmady in Kundapur taluk on October 4.
